WMC2000 The Lift Promo Report

As expected, Miami turned out to be a killer trip! Lots of great music and some great performances! LIFT Highlights: Ultra Beach Rave - Rabbit In The Moon. Back stage was the only place to be for this party! F-111 Party - Faze Action were incredible on the rooftop. Funky Techno Tribe @ Liquid - Excellent music AND room to dance. BT rocked it at Shadow Lounge. Capulus @ Space - Awesome music and party vibe! Thousand Words/Green Galactic/Hands On Deck - HATS OFF!!! We expected nothing less.

The Pro Motion party at Chaos was also a great success! LIVE sets from Tracie Spencer, Anastacia and Sonique were outstanding (especially when Sonique jumped behind the decks to spin AND sing a few.) And for fluff, Alice DJ jumped on stage like a group of cheerleaders with hot pink hair, lip synced some Euro high-energy into the room and made everyone smile. If you have a sense of humor, you had to appreciate them. It's not high art! DJ wise - Phunky Data/Funkstar De Luxe/Stonebridge/Joe T Vannelli were on point.

It was really cool meeting as many of you as I did amidst the chaos and thanks for all the support. LIFT may not have won Independant Promotion Company of the year but if you're gonna lose, it may as well be to your boss! Congrats Brad.
