On March 25 - 29, 2000 thousands of music industry professionals and global dance music enthusiasts gathered in Miami Beach, Florida for the 15th Annual Winter Music Conference. WMC is known as the most important event in the dance music industry where every aspect of this global phenomenon comes together. Over the five-day conference week, relationships are forged, deals struck and many of the biggest records of the year debut. Attendees from over 40 countries were rubbing elbows and shaking booty, including executives from major and independent record labels, publishers, promoters, managers, agents, artists, DJs, remixers, producers, radio and video, record pools, programmers, retailers as well as equipment hardware and software manufacturers.
